I admit that I, much to my shame, have strayed from the path of righteousness and gone back to Fandom Secrets. Again. I am now in the stage when I want to tell myself I can quit any time I want, even though I know this to be untrue.

Why is that comm so addictive? Why do I keep going back there even though I know there will be people showing their ignorance, saying things that piss me off, and generally being wrong on the internet? I think I'm going to have to add a Community of Shame to my Manga of Shame and Fandom of Shame.

My name is Ithiliana...and I seem to have become addicted to Manboobz which, granted, is mocking misogyny in the Men's Rights's Bowel movements, but still....

I understand! MRAs are overripe for mocking, but their beliefs are so toxic it hurts to read them even for mocking purposes.

Definitely--I have not in any way recommended the blog though I've posted a bit about the more fun parts (great discussions by regulars). I never click on the links and read the original, just the parts David links to (and some of those are horrifying), and while there are trolls who come over (very light moderation), I do skim quite a few of them.

And, oddly enough, I realized while talking to Entwife today, it's been rather therapeutic.

Somehow....I now am feeling less inclined to kick some of the men around me on campus!
