F YEAH LANDING GEAR!

I'm in a hotel room with my mother right now! I love my mother, but the trip down was AWFUL. My second plane got delayed, so I missed my third plane, and all the later flights to my destination got cancelled because of the weather. My carry on bag was too heavy to carry around all day long, so my arms are sore now, and my checked bag had already been sent to my final destination, so I was stuck overnight without clean clothes. My flight this morning got delayed until the afternoon, I didn't have motion sickness medicine for an extra day, the air was rough, and there were problems with the plane's landing gear. Obviously, we landed relatively safely after all was said and done. And I somehow managed not to have a breakdown.

I left my cell phone charger at home, so I have to see if I can buy a new one tomorrow. Those of you who have my phone number, I might have to keep the phone turned off all week so it'll have enough charge left for the return trip.

I'm really happy to be with my mom again, but I'm kind of nervous about staying in her new place for a week and meeting all her neighbors. She's says I'm going to have inspiration for new characters. At least the delay turned out to have an unexpected benefit for her. She's been having problems with her knees, and it gave her some time to rest and recuperate from all the walking she's had to do lately due to my grandmother's injury.
