Hey, internet, we need to talk-- especially the parts of the internet that post humanized fan art of My Little Pony characters and genderswaps of Team Fortress 2 characters! Some of you seem to be under the impression that women in/from the southern and western states are required by regional custom to walk around in jeans cut off just below their butt cheeks and shirts tied up just under their breasts at all times. Now, I'm not saying nobody ever does, but it's not standard, and it's mostly limited to quite young women (much younger than the Engineer is implied to be!) in very hot weather-- the kind of weather in which a lot of the equally young men would be going shirtless. I understand that some of you want to use that look for the sake of cheesecake, but other fan artists inexplicably use it in pictures that show all the other characters wearing full-length trousers, shirts below the knee, long dresses with long sleeves, tall socks, long-sleeved shirts tucked in at the waist, sweaters, jackets-- in other words, outfits that imply they're dressing for weather that is what people who are from, oh say, Texas would consider cold. This is like having one character in a bikini while everyone else is dressed for a brisk fall day. There has to be some other way to indicate "farmer" or "Texan" or whatever. After all, the source material manages to do it.
