Falling back into action

gryphonseggI've filled out requests for my transcripts to be sent to four different universities, and I've made contact with all my references. I think I'm ready to try this grad school thing again.
New administrative nonsense has been added to my day job. Meanwhile, I've been writing short fic thingies to keep my brain going. Also, I've restarted Groundpounders. I'm thinking about putting the edited first and second parts on Dreamwidth before posting the third part. (Also also, the whole idea is based on giving the side-eye to the Dragonriders of Pern series and A Companion to Wolves. Why can't I stop picking apart books I don't like?)
